WeatherMan
----------
by
James David Walley
A program to forecast the weather.
To use this program, you need a barometer and some means of finding
the wind direction (weather vane, fancy electronic instrument, wet finger,
etc.). Simply enter the information by clicking on the appropriate gadgets.
Click the "FORECAST" gadget to get the forecast.
In case you are wondering, the "Rising Fast" and "Falling Fast"
categories refer to any change greater than .06 in an hour.
The principles of this program are, of course, general scientific
rules, and are hence in the public domain. Some of these were first used in
a P. D. program for the Commodore 64, "Weather Forecaster," written by George
W. Miller.
WeatherMan itself is (C)opyright 1988 by Bit Player Software. The
author of this program and Bit Player Software give permission for this program
to be freely distributed, under the following conditions:
1) This program may not be modified, and must be distributed along

3) This program may NOT be uploaded to or posted on CompuServe without
written permission of the author and Bit Player Software.
If you enjoy WeatherMan, your contributions would be welcomed. We are

much as possible. In order to help us do that, please send any contributions
